Canon’s new BJ-W3000 printer/plotter series deliver full colour, large format printing for architects, engineers, graphic art and GIS professionals. Providing optimum performance on all levels – from faster speed and higher resolution to seamless integration and powerful printing features. All in a compact, flexible, user-friendly unit, available at a low cost of ownership.

Faster speed for optimal productivity.
Both models feature powerful print heads, designed with a 160 nozzle for black output and 144 nozzles for colour. Printing speed is a fast 2.3 minutes for a monochrome A0 drawing (draft mode) and just 7.9 minutes for full colour A0 output (normal mode). This rapid printing speed results in an overall increase in productivity, generating faster output for final proofs.

Unique, user friendly operation.
A clear LCD display allows easy, interactive operation. Canon’s unique ink level indicator combines optical ink level detection and dot counting for absolute accuracy, with three levels displayed (ink remaining/nearly empty/out of ink). Auto interface recognition adds to overall ease. While memory is user-expandable memory from a standard 8 MB right up to 72 MB.

Flexible paper handling.
The BJ-W3000 series provide a roll feeder with automatic cutter as a standard feature. Thus both sheet media and roll media can be used, with continuous roll output. As the print head height is easily adjustable to 3 levels, different types of media and thickness can be accepted, to handle a wide range of applications.

Powerful printing features.
Advanced printing features allow automatic layout, with Nesting, Media saving and Best functions. Other modes include auto scaling for standard paper sizes, manual scaling, image rotation, mirror image, replot, copying, long plot, etc.
